Peterson case in jeopardy as hearsay evidence barred
Experts say the Drew Peterson case faces trouble after an appellate court ruled second hand statements should be excluded from the trial for the 2004 death of Kathleen Savio. Prosecutors may appeal, but without physical evidence or eyewitnesses the charges could be dropped. Peterson denies involvement in Savio’s death and Stacy Peterson’s 2007 disappearance.
