Small Explosion Blasts Airliner Over Mojave Desert

FBI said an unexploded blasting cap was found in the airliner toilet after a blast tore a Western Airlines Convair between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. A passenger, Saul F. Seven-year-old Theodore Ross Conroy Jr. wandered from a YMCA camping group in Azusa California. Rangers with bloodhounds and helicopters searched the rugged area overnight. He entered a state road camp saying he was hungry after spending much of the night on a tree limb out of reach of animals.

Order Dulles To London

President Eisenhower ordered Secretary of State Dulles to fly to the London disarmament talks Sunday. Officials said Dulles will decide whether to continue or break off the talks. Seattle July 27 AP Dave Beck president of the Teamsters Union pleaded innocent in King County Superior Court to grand larceny in the use of funds from the sale of a union owned automobile. Eight men including Gordon Foster, kin of Frank Wortman, surrendered on May gambling raid indictments. Bond posted, arraignment set.
