U S corn shipments to Poland aid debated at White House
Rep Derwinski says Poland formally requested 400000 metric tons of corn to feed poultry as the White House and several agencies consider the plan. Agriculture Secretary Black told the National Corn Growers Association the emergency aid is under high level discussion while CC Corp will supervise the transaction and aid will cost about 80 million dollars in zlotys to be spent in Poland.
