A 57 year old Du Quoin man, John Prather, was arrested on felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse charges for an alleged 2003 sex act with a minor. He awaits a court appearance and bond setting at Perry County Jail.

Du Quoin Dowell reach agreement on water line issues

Du Quoin and Dowell reach a negotiated settlement over water service with Dowell selling water to Du Quoin via a shared line.
