Cairo woman guilty in shooting of attorney husband

A Jackson County jury found Constance Meehan of Cairo guilty of attempted murder of her husband, attorney William Meehan, along with armed violence and two counts of aggravated battery. Sentencing set for Sept. 1. she faces minimum six years for each X crime.
