Lucy the Elephant Hit by Lightning Again at Margate
The nationalhistoric Lucy the Elephant landmark at Margate New Jersey was struck by lightning over the weekend, damaging electrical, computer, alarm and air conditioning systems. Officials estimate repairs could cost 10 000 to 100 000 dollars. The 130 year old site remains open and will celebrate its birthday in two weeks.
