Wesley Foundation appoints new director in Carbondale
The Rev. Steve Lobacz becomes director of the Wesley Foundation at 816 S. Illinois Ave. in Carbondale. A Chicago native who lived in Olney 15 years, he studied at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary and served as assistant minister in England from 1978 to 1980. Guest ministers at Church of the Good Shepherd include Rev. Theo Gill of SIU Carbon dale for a 9:30 a.m. sermon The Song of Miriam and Rev. Archibald Mosley of Michigan for the 11 a.m. service.
