Injured teen improving after attempting to hop train

Franklin County considers policy to aid employees in need
Franklin County Board tabled action on a donor policy for a county employee’s family and formed a committee to craft a county wide policy. The move followed a proposal to allow donating sick or vacation hours to Suzanne Willmore for her son U S Army PFC Chaz Ligon who was severely injured in Afghanistan. Ligon's injuries include the loss of a leg, broken leg, eye loss, and a ruptured eardrum. He spent weeks in a Texas hospital then a rehab facility near the hospital. Recovery could take up to two years. Willmore has been with her son since December 19 and is currently on leave under FMLA. county policy requires conCurrent sick and vacation hours to run concurrently with leave.
