Blues singer Koko Taylor, the Queen of the Blues, remained in fair condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital after fainting at her South Side nightclub. Spokesman Marc Lipkin said the 66 year old’s blood pressure and sugar spiked due to missed diabetes medication while doctors checked for other causes. she was expected to be released later in the week.
