Black was inducted into the USA Hall of Fame in Richmond Indiana in January and named man of the year in Tae Kwon-Do for his 30 years of martial arts experience. Amish store draws crowds with old time general store charm

Owner Schlabach, who moved his family from Arthur Arcola, says competition with Wal Mart is tough, but quality service keeps patrons returning. The store hosts both Amish and non Amish customers including visitors from St. Louis and Carbondale, and features a hitching post reflecting Amish practices.
