Shelter Overrun With Strays Drives Sterilization Push

A $35 spay neuter voucher program spans 14 local vets, funded mainly by Pennies for Pets, though funds are running short. Volunteers urge sterilization, adoption, and donations as shelters remain crowded. Dorian and Dark Star, shelter residents, illustrate hopeful charm amid the crisis.
