Pilots say troop locations were unavailable before Afghan bombing
At a military hearing, Col. David Nichols testified that allied troop locations in Afghanistan were basically nonexistent for U S pilots during the April 17 strike that killed four Canadian soldiers. He warned superiors his pilots needed to know where friendlies were to avoid such incidents.
