Nick Hill Darren Marquez James Cloud Brandin Jordan Clayton Johnson Scott Ravanesi and Craig Turner earned honorable mention as SIU finished 12 2 and reached the NCAA Division I semis.
Southern Illinois University ranked 33rd in Collegiate Baseball's Fabulous 40 preseason poll. SIU and Wichita State, at 9th, were the MVC’s only representatives this year. The Salukis bring back eight position starters and two starting pitchers from a 34-22 club.
