Nagoya logged the season’s heaviest January snowfall in 27 years with about seven inches. temperatures dropped to 27 degrees. By midday 82 bullet trains were delayed affecting about 74,000 passengers while Nagoya airport canceled 35 flights and highways were briefly closed as snow cleared.
