Thomas G Lyons elected one of three vice presidents of the constitutional convention and named to the rules style and drafting and public information committees. He will be a nonvoting member of the legislative executive and revenue committees. Born in Chicago in 1931, Lyons is a lawyer with a future political run. David E Stahl serves as deputy mayor to Chicago Mayor Richard J Daley and chairs the public information committee while also serving on the local government committee. Born in Chicago in 1943, Stahl graduated from Miami University in 1956 and joined Phi Beta Kappa.
William F. Lennon, 48, a John Carroll University graduate with a DePaul University Law credential, represents several major labor interests on the northwest city edge. He favors steady policy while engaging with unions and business groups.
Joseph C. Sharpe Sr a U S Army veteran 1943 46 born January 17 1916 in Chicago an associate minister at Ste Stephen AME Church and active in the 27th Ward Regular Democratic organization. Jaskula a practicing attorney born 1918 served in the Navy 1942 45 and held public defender and master in chancery roles in Cook County.
Richard M Daley son of Chicago mayor Richard J Daley graduated from DePaul University in 1965 and from DePaul University College of Law in 1968. He runs a Chicago law office and served in the Marine Corps Reserves 1961 67. Leonard F Miska co authored Police and Public A Critique and A Program founder of Southtown Music Corp and Hartford Finance and Mortgage Corp commissioner on Chicago Commission on Human Relations and Mayor s Police Study Commission.
Michael J. Madigan a public utilities consultant and 13th Ward Democratic Committeeman. Joseph V. Rachunas owner of the Gold Coast Inn and active in local clubs. David Linn matrimonial lawyer and former Illinois Commission on Human Relations commissioner. Mary Lee Leahy Fulbright scholar and Chicago law practitioner with Andrew Leahy.
