Entries must be postmarked by 6 p.m. Wednesday and delivered by 9 a.m. Friday to qualify. Other entries must be submitted by 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Police in Louisville report scant clues in a string of thefts. Seven women said burglars unlocked basements and stole rayon and nylon undergarments. Losses totaled up to nineteen dollars in the incident.

Col George White outlines three goals including informing the public and collecting data for a potential detailed survey. Witnesses present preliminary evidence as Illinois Mines Director Schull supports the plan with governor Stratton’s approval.
Soviet Premier Nikolai Bulganin urges party unity and accelerates the five year plan at the 20th Communist party Congress. He claims the USSR still leads in peaceful uses of atomic energy and endorses Khrushchev’s peaceful coexistence policy while affirming collective leadership.
