French Mine Blast Kills At Least 20 In Wens France
An explosion at a coal mine near Wens France killed at least 20 miners with another missing. The blast struck the 2,200 foot level during a reg ular off hours shift, sparing more casualties due to the partial off time. Officials said the missing miner had little chance of survival.
