Harding Letters Gate Kept Until 2014 By Agreement
Heirs of Warren G Harding donate unpublished love letters to Carrie Phillips to the Library of Congress in exchange for a solid seal through 2014. The letters written 1909 to 1920 imply past affairs, including with Nan Britton, and were found by Francis Russell in Marion, Ohio in 1963. The Times was not a party to the agreement ending years of litigation.
