Williamson County committeemen named as voter registrars
County clerk Barney Boren announced that all precinct committeemen will serve as voter registrars for 33 precincts, with one Republican and one Democrat in each. Deputies will assist, and 108 committeemen are involved. Registration of new voters begins three days after an election and ends two days before the next election. The March primary follows the November general election. Committeemen will help ensure accurate voter lists and replacements as new voters are registered.
