Man Missing From Murphysboro Big Muddy River Apts
Police in Murphysboro and Jackson County searched Thursday for Billy G. Leonard, 72, missing since about 9:30 a.m. He was last seen near the Big Muddy River Apartments on Shawnee Drive, wearing blue jeans a flannel shirt and a ball cap. A ground search found nothing, with daylight hours set to resume the hunt. Leonard is a white man 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds with graying hair.
