A massive explosion destroyed a midtown Frankfurt apartment building before dawn killing or trapping 25 residents including seven children. Henry A. Buerkle operator of Buerkle Drug Co pleaded guilty to three counts of violating the federal food drug and cosmetic act. He was fined $100 on each count for selling thy roid and dexedrine tablets and placed on one year probation on a suspended sentence for selling dexedrine sulphate. Federal agents had bought tablets on Aug 2 3 and 10. Sentencing by Judge Fred L Wham. Maximum penalties include $1000 fine and up to a year in jail per count.
