Obituary: Helen Marie Humm of Murphysboro dies at 82
Helen Marie Humm died of natural causes November 28 2007 at Helia Healthcare Carbondale. Born January 11 1925 in Murphysboro to Edward and Martha Murphy she lived in Murphysboro most of her life. She married Tom Hamm May 6 1944 in Rossclare while he served in Europe. She is survived by three sisters, two children, four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Her remains were donated to SIU School of Medicine. a memorial service will be held later. Meredith Funeral Home assisted the family.
