Perry deputy clerk charged with embezzling forty three thousand

Perry County deputy clerk Debra Heck was arrested on a felony theft charge for allegedly embezzling about 43 000 from the county clerk's office over 21 months ending in August 2006. She posted bond, appeared in court, and was fired by County Clerk Kevin Kern.
