SIU School of Medicine to name interim dean and launch search
Dean Walter V. Werdler will appoint an interim dean at SIU School of Medicine as a national search is set for Getto’s replacement. Getto, named SIU’s dean in 1993, cites expanded funding for the Cancer Institute and Parkinson’s Center, broader telemedicine, and 80 outreach clinics as key gains.
