Soderstrom Opposes Illinois Constitutional Convention
Reuben G. Soderstrom, president of the Windis State Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations, urged defeat of Illinois constitutional convention. He cited critics as wealthy tax dodgers seeking lighter taxes and a new constitution to push the Revenue Article rejected in 1966.
