Doctor leaves Free Clinic after decade of service
Dr. Charles Roska, 55, longtime Marion VA Hospital chief and volunteer at the Carbondale Free Clinic, plans to move to Danville after 10 years in Carbondale. He began as a clinician for indigent patients and students, saying the clinic meets needs not covered by existing agencies and that his next role will focus on youth health at the University of Illinois Health Service.
