Area men to join western fire fight crew
Twenty one more area workers from the forestry service and a South Eastern Illinois Junior College contingent leave Harrisburg to join a western forest fire fight. The group joins another 21 and a fourth crew is being organized as a 6,500 acre blaze near Kybuz California threatens nearby Wayne Nichols says the stay is usually up to two weeks with pay based on role. A chicken heart beats about 300 times a minute.
