Mr and Mrs Wallace Peebles of Marion marked their fiftieth anniversary on Saturday August 18 2001. They wed August 18 1951 at the RLDS Church in Marion. He was an elementary school principal for Community Unit School District No 2 she worked for the State of Illinois. Their two children are Paul Peebles of Redding California and Beth Asp of Herrin.
