Shawneetown's Scates Farms provided about 3550 ears of Ambrosia corn for the Illinois State Fair. Agri Expo vendor Kent McFarland said IDA marketers share the recipe and soak the ears for two hours before grilling 20 minutes over medium heat. Ear price is $2, cheaper than external vendors.
