Army Sends Notices To Inactive Reserves In Illinois
Chicago August 16 AP Greetings from Uncle Sam went to the mails today for the first group of enlisted men in the army reserve to be called. Orders were mailed to report for pre activation physicals. About 60 percent of those called are from the Chicago area. Single men recalled first, then married men with no children, then married men with children, per Col. Frank S. Mansfield.
