Fall trial set for sexual abuse suspect
John David Prather, 57, waived his preliminary hearing in Perry County Court in a case charging two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Judge James Campanella set the trial for late September or early October. Prather remains jailed in lieu of $6,000 bond with conditions prohibiting contact with the victims, residence in Du Quoin, or being alone with anyone under 18.
