State police report 78 year old Tamms resident Isabel Jordan died after veering off Illinois 127 and striking a tree one half mile south of Allin Road in Alexander County. Investigators continue the crash probe. In Anna, seven minors and two juveniles were arrested for illegal alcohol use at a party on Brady Mill Road with police locating two more people at the residence of Samuel and Margaret Estes. Nine underage suspects were released to parents as authorities consider charges.
