Rend Lake District approves multiple erosion of water system payments
Rend Lake Conservancy District board authorized first installments totaling 1 597 627 78 to three contractors for the inter city water system. C C Construction Co of Fort Wayne will build the water treatment plant admin building and booster pump station. P S Construction Co of Cape Girardeau will install large diameter water lines and Shawnee Construction Co of Carbondale will install smaller pipes. Additional payments were approved to engineers and auditors, with details on bond printing and a HUD audit. The Shawnee Development Council executive committee will meet to handle a director’s resignation and discuss an anticipated federal audit with regional OEO officials. The Shawnee council runs anti poverty programs across several counties.
