Man charged with aggravated battery of a child in Carbondale
Chinedu Nwodu, 22, is jailed on three counts of aggravated battery of a child and one count of forcing a confession. He allegedly beat his girlfriend’s sons, ages 12, 8, and 6, with a leather belt to extract a confession about spray paint damage. Authorities say the mother did not know of the beating and the victims were not hospitalized.
