A three-vehicle crash at 3 56 p m Wednesday on Herrin Road injured three people who were all taken to Herrin Hospital for minor injuries. Driver David Milani 34 Herrin failed to slow for a vehicle and crossed into oncoming traffic causing impact. Milani cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Jackson County deputies report a three-vehicle wreck on Illinois 13 near Reed Station Road at 4 45 p m. An Estoray Nekzad Mitsubishi Montero was eastbound and slowed, a David Close Chevrolet Blazer struck from behind, and a Chasity Jack Oldsmobile Alero struck Close s vehicle from behind. Close and Jack were cited for failure to reduce speed.
