AMA to probe fatal Du Quoin motorcycle crash
The American Motorcyclist Association will investigate the Du Quoin Camel Pro Series fatality involving 21 year old Joliet rider Mike Escue after he lost control and was struck in the fourth lap of the 12 lap Expert Trophy race. Rider Bret Braddy of Ada Oklahoma was hospitalized in fair condition with multiple injuries. The coroner reports head injuries as the cause pending final results. The race took place at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds amid a shifted schedule due to rain threats.
