Storms in South Kill Nine as Trees fall on Homes
A Georgia family lost a father and his young son when a massive tree limb crashed into their bedroom in Jackson. Across the South, violent storms killed at least nine, felled trees, and damaged power lines as tornadoes and high winds swept the region. A mobile home was ripped from its foundation in Dodge County, killing Christopher McNair and injuring three others.
