Local youths charged with larceny over car theft
Ralph Haines and Albert Prock two boys under eighteen were arrested by Officer Ridelt on larceny charges. They allegedly took Percy Schroeder's Chevrolet from a garage and tried to convert it in nearby woods. The car vanished after the Schroeders returned home, later traced to the youths. Preliminary hearing set for next Monday before Justice E A Dodge. Bonds posted at four hundred dollars each.

Road matters on Friday court appearance by Commercial Club
At Tuesday's club meeting a committee was formed to present road issues to the county court Friday. The group will discuss changing the road to Curry county and finishing the North Fork route to join Myrtle Point improved streets. The road may be completed within a block, needing gravel to provide good headway to town.
