Loose Truck Spring Causes Accident Near P. W. Laird Home
A spring fell from a truck driven by Jobs Whobrey on Monday near the Laird residence, causing the loaded logs to topple the vehicle. Mrs W W Gage wife of the Coos County sheriff sustained severe injuries Sunday forenoon in an auto crash about ten miles east of Bridge. Rev H A Niergarth Marshfield Adventist Church drove a Ford sedan in a party returning from two religious meetings when his car skidded and struck a bank. Mrs Gage is said to have been thrown through the top of the car and suffered hemorrhages from the wreck.

A Ford coupe driven by Ross Shull collided with a Chevrolet driven by Harry Dement at the Spruce and Sixth Street intersection Saturday morning. Glen Weekly and Ike Allen were in the Ford. Forest fire case ends in acquittal in Oregon
