The Coos county Teachers Institute will be held in the new high school building in Coquille from October 24 to 26, inclusive. Prominent instructors include Supt J A Churchill Mary L Fulkerson and others from the University of Oregon and Oregon Normal School. A room reservation is urged for attendees.

Local Post Office Shows Increase in Myrtle Point
A quarterly Postmaster report for the period ending Sept 30 1921 shows a 12.6 percent rise in stamp sales compared with the previous year. Total receipts for the past three quarters reach 3517.79 while 1920 receipts were 3124.48. War Savings Stamps and Revenue Stamps are excluded from gross receipts. Parcel Post and Express services also show gains versus 1920.
