Car Plunges Off Highway In Midwestern Crash
Chas Kennedy of North Bend an insurance man about 70 years old drove his Ford sedan off the North Fork highway north of Myrtle Point Monday night. The car was a total wreck with his family inside. Kennedy suffered cuts and bruises treated at Mast Wilson hospital. The wreck was removed by L H Pearce garage. Kennedy charged Delbert E Warren with crowding him off the road claiming his rear end was struck before the plunge.

Broadbent Lady to Visit in Germany

Memorial Day Observances In Myrtle Point Schedule
Memorial day observances occur next Monday in Myrtle Point with a 11 o clock church service at the Church of the Brethren. Rev Omer Idso will speak as churches unite to honor Shoah departed. Morning events include theatre program at 10 with music by Myrtle Point Choral Club and a star spangled banner. Closing services at the cemetery feature American Legion ritual, firing squad, and taps by W Louden. All veterans urged to wear uniforms as younger veterans join the program.

Floras Young Dies After Illness at Age 12
Floras Young of Myrtle Point passed away May 20 1927 after a brief illness of septicaemia. Funeral services were conducted at Schroeder chapel with Rev Omer Idso officiating. She was laid to rest in Bandon near the Pacific beside family members.

Miss Maude Fillmore learned by telegram of her father’s fatal death after a staged telegram first warned of serious injury. A second message and a forwarded note confirmed the instant passing. The deceased had worked for a mining company and visited Myrtle Point with his wife about a month prior.

Lewis Exchanges Ranch for Talent Property in Oregon
