J J Handsaker of Portland State Director appeals for clothing for eastern sufferers. May 25 is Bundle Day with Myrtle Point asked to contribute clean, serviceable garments for children and adults. Items accepted at the Methodist church annex and sent before May 25 with ten to fifteen cents per bundle for freight. Boy Scouts will collect bundles if notified. The clothing ship sails around June 16 to aid the desperate relief effort.

The first non league game Sunday saw Marshfield win 4 to 3 with strong attendance and promising play ahead of the season.
