Country Editor High School Play Draws Big Turnout at Unique Theatre
The Unique Theatre hosted the high school senior play The Country Editor under Prof John L Gary. A large crowd witnessed the production from opening orchestra to final curtain with gross receipts near 173 00 aiding student body debts and future expenses. Cast included James Whitaker as The Country Editor and Vividn Annin as leading lady Miss woreate Curtiss with strong support from Gilbert Schriefer Forest Mans Lyle Nosler Homer Gant and others. Dr O H Clark and Mrs Gary praised for coaching and direction. orchestra conducted by Rev L M Anderson provided lively selections. Myrtle Point notes closed with War Savings Stamps appeal.
