Former Students Honor Old Brick Building Reunion
A Wed evening crowd of about two hundred former students and teachers gathered at the old brick building for a farewell reunion before its demolition. Wallace Dement and Hart Clinton led the program with talks from Hawkins, Dixon, Handerson, and others. About 150 members from Valley camp Powers Myrtle camp Myrtle Point Laprel camp Coquille Marshfield attended the Saturday event in Powers. Myrtle camp won the purple and white silk quilt and the prize for secret work.
