Will Contract Sale of Whey by Oregon Dairymen's League
The Oregon Dairymen's League will dispose of the skim milk whey and butter milk from 18 factories under contract, awarded to highest bidders. Contracts aim to build a stock feeding industry, curb unsanitary byproduct storage, and boost dairymen’s milk returns. By-products may be sold year round with bids advertised in another column. The Woman's Club library opens Wednesdays 2 to 4 pm above the Bank of Myrtle Point. The Bridge mail carrier now leaves at 5 pm to deliver same-day mail to Bridge and nearby areas, continuing to Remote and Bancroft the next day.

Farm loan act upheld. $125000 in farmers loans released

A. K. Peck of Marshfield says the Roseburg to Roseburg area road will be built this year and Curry County’s highway will be improved by next year under a compromise backed by R. A. Booth. The plan ties Roosevelt highways to state routes with Myrtle Point to Roseburg work to begin, and Coquille to Bandon improvements as part of the Roosevelt system. A Bandon to Curry County southern route upgrade aims for 1922 completion.
