Sheriff Seizes Large Still in North Fork County
Sheriff Ellingson yesterday captured a large illicit still on the Meyers place by the North Fork, securing about two gallons of finished liquor and fifty gallons of mash. One arrest, a man named Ryder, was reported. rumors spoke of a second large still nearby. The outfit was so large a truck was needed to haul it, and the liquor was said to be of fair quality. Mr. and Mrs. Wolff of Marshfield visited the city yesterday, with Mrs. Wolff previously known as Mrs. Barry.
