Glenn Melvin Weekly aged 27 was crushed when a log rolled from a top load at a Coquille river log landing near Aragé while he worked with a young Carver boy opening gates. He was born in Coos County March 27 1900 and left a daughter and several siblings. The Schroeder ambulance brought the body to Myrtle Point and funeral services were held at Schroeder chapel with Rev. Thomas Barklow officiating. This followed another Weekly log deaths two years earlier of his father Lee Weekly.
