Three Airplanes Sighted Over Myrtle Point Monday Night
Residents list Guy Wilbur Ed at Stem Miler Mill and a Johnsons brother among observers. They saw three airplanes pass overhead at about eleven near half a mile altitude with powerful lights and heard engine throbs. The lead pair were a quarter mile apart, the third about a mile back, prompting speculation of enemy aircraft or local aviators.
