A 1917 letter from the Northwestern Division Campaign Committee thanks Mr. J L Simpson and Red Cross campaign workers in Coos and Curry Counties for their house to house canvassing despite shortages. It praises their patriotism, notes shortages of buttons and supplies, and credits their efforts with Oregon's standing in the national Red Cross drive.
