Lundy Cheese company hosted a Saturday banquet at Schroeder hall with about 100 guests. Steve Reed traced the cheese factory history, noting a 16 percent dividend in its first two years and a new $3500 addition leaving the plant debt free. A locally loved dog named Laddie died after poisoning one night this week. Originally a pet of Elece Cutler, he later lived at Bud Emery’s, and was claimed by N P Peterson. Peterson found Laddie vomiting and near death returning from his store and says someone cruel poisoned him.
